The new year is fast approaching, so now is a good time to think about a New Year’s Resolution that will assist your staff and your business. Here is our suggestion…

  1. Review your HR policies and procedures. Ensure they are up to date and that you have all the documents you need.
  2. Update your employment agreements for remuneration and conditions in line with legislation. Double check that Fair Work Australia Rules have not changed recently.
  3. Re-induct your employees. We strongly recommend an annual re-induction because, in the event of a dispute, you have proof that your employee was informed of your company’s policies, procedures and the way you want things done.
  4. Ensure your Occupational Health and Safety Manual is up to date and that employees are re-inducted and conduct regular workplace risk assessment tests.
